The West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] Cougars (Winchester, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Seymour Indians (Payson, IL), 69-52 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Cougars (25-3) will now prepare for their test against North Mac (Virden, IL). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 13-14 record. In their last test, North Mac notched a victory over Carlinville (Carlinville, IL), 59-56, in a league test.

The Indians now own a 12-17 record. They play next when they host Griggsville-Perry for a Western Illinois Valley test on Friday, February 9. Seymour will encounter a Tornadoes squad coming off a 55-50 non-league loss to South County (Franklin, IL). The Tornadoes record now stands at 22-5.
