Connecticut High School Basketball - Staples topples Warde

In Tuesday's league outing, the Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT) basketball squad beat the host Warde Mustangs (Fairfield, CT), by a margin of 57-43.

The Wreckers (10-4) will now prepare for their outing against Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT). The Falcons go into the Fairfield County outing with a 11-4 record. In their last outing, Ludlowe was topped by Ridgefield (Ridgefield, CT), 67-52, in a league outing.

The Mustangs now own a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Darien for a Fairfield County outing on Friday, February 9. Warde will clash with a Blue Wave squad coming off a 68-60 league win over Greenwich (Greenwich, CT). The Blue Wave record now stands at 5-10.
