Iowa High School Basketball - Waterloo West knocked off by Western Dubuque

The Western Dubuque Bobcats basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Waterloo West Wahawks to 50 in the Bobcats league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bobcats now sport a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Linn-Mar for a Mississippi Valley contest on Friday, February 9. Western Dubuque will battle a Lions team coming off a 83-53 league win over Hempstead (Dubuque, IA). The Lions record now stands at 13-10.
The Wahawks (5-14) will now prepare for their contest against Iowa City (Iowa City, IA). The Little Hawks enter the Mississippi Valley contest with a 9-20 record. In their last contest, Iowa City ran past Washington (Cedar Rapids, IA), 65-57, in a league contest.
