The Mitchell Kernels topped the host Aberdeen Central Golden Eagles basketball team by a final score of 51-39 in Tuesday's league game.
In their next game, the Kernels face the Washington Warriors (Sioux Falls, SD) in a AA contest, on Tuesday, February 13. Mitchell will attempt to better on its 15-0 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 7-9 record after their 59-40 league loss to O'Gorman (Sioux Falls, SD).
The Golden Eagles (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Huron (Huron, SD). The Tigers come into the AA contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Huron was defeated by Riggs (Pierre, SD), 58-45, in a league contest.
