Bishop LeBlond Eagles (St. Joseph, MO) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Cameron Dragons (Cameron, MO), 48-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Bishop LeBlond upgrades its record to 19-4 on the season. The Eagles host Lafayette (St. Joseph, MO) to clash with the Fighting Irish in a Midland Empire bout on Thursday, February 8. The Fighting Irish go into the bout with a record of 12-6. Lafayette won 48-43 in their recent league bout against Benton (St. Joseph, MO)

Next up, the Dragons clash with the St. Pius X Warriors (Kansas City, MO) in a Midland Empire bout, on Friday, February 9. Cameron will attempt to upgrade on its 13-8 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 10-11 record after their 77-53 league win over Maryville (Maryville, MO).
