Richford Falcons (Richford, VT) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Blue Mountain Bucks (Wells River, VT), 59-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Richford upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The Falcons travel to Hazen (Hardwick, VT) to clash with the Wildcats in a Mountain bout on Thursday, February 8. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 14-1. Hazen won 54-31 in their recent league bout against Enosburg Falls (Enosburg Falls, VT)

Next up, the Bucks clash with the Winooski Spartans (Winooski, VT) in a Mountain bout, on Thursday, February 8. Blue Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 55-23 league win over Stowe (Stowe, VT).
