Calhoun Christian Cougars (Battle Creek, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Tri-Unity Christian Defenders (Wyoming, MI), 51-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Calhoun Christian upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season. The Cougars host Marshall Academy (Marshall, MI) to clash with the Griffons in a non-league bout on Friday, February 9. The Griffons go into the bout with a record of 2-10. Marshall Academy lost 29-24 in their recent non-league bout against Rudolf Steiner (Ann Arbor, MI)

Next up, the Defenders clash with the Wellspring Prep (Grand Rapids, MI) in a Freelance bout, on Friday, February 9. Tri-Unity Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record.
