In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Central Montcalm Hornets (Stanton, MI) basketball squad beat the visiting Shepherd Bluejays (Shepherd, MI), by a count of 42-28.

The Hornets (8-7) will now prepare for their outing against Grant (Grant, MI). The Tigers go into the Central State outing with a 8-3 record.

The Bluejays now hold a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Harrison for a Jack Pine outing on Friday, February 9. Shepherd will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 41-33 non-league win over Chippewa Hills (Remus, MI). The Hornets record now stands at 3-11.
