The St. Joseph's Academy Redstickers (Baton Rouge, LA) basketball nipped the visiting Central Wildcats (Baton Rouge, LA), 42-39 in Tuesday's league test.
The Redstickers (10-15) will now prepare for their test against Woodlawn-B.R. (Baton Rouge, LA). The Panthers go into the 5A District 4 test with a 21-9 record. In their last test, Woodlawn-B.R. was tipped by Liberty Magnet (Baton Rouge, LA), 52-49, in a league test.
The Wildcats now own a 10-13 record. They play next when they host Zachary for a 5A District 4 test on Friday, February 9.
