Chase County Bulldogs (Cottonwood Falls, KS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Marais des Cygnes Valley Trojans (Melvern, KS), 52-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Chase County upgrades its record to 11-5 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Waverly (Waverly, KS) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, February 9. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 5-11. Waverly lost 41-38 in their recent non-league bout against Classical (Wichita, KS)

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Mission Valley Vikings (Eskridge, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 9. Marais des Cygnes Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 47-22 non-league loss to Wabaunsee (Alma, KS).
