Classical Saints (Wichita, KS) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Waverly Bulldogs (Waverly, KS), 41-38 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Classical upgrades its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Saints host School of the Ozarks (Point Lookout, MO) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 10. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 14-5.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Chase County Bulldogs (Cottonwood Falls, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 9. Waverly will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 11-5 record after their 52-39 non-league win over Marais des Cygnes Valley (Melvern, KS).
