The Colts Neck Cougars basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Point Pleasant Boro Panthers to 41 in the Cougars non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. John-Vianney for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 8. Colts Neck will battle a Lancers team coming off a 50-43 non-league loss to Morris Catholic (Denville, NJ). The Lancers record now stands at 16-6.

The Panthers (11-9) will now prepare for their contest against Middle Township (Cape May Court House, NJ). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 17-6 record. In their last contest, Middle Township prevailed over Atlantic City (Atlantic City, NJ), 53-39, in a non-league contest.
