Spectators at Tuesday's league test between the Newport Tigers (Newport, NH) and the visiting Conant Orioles (Jaffrey, NH), witnessed Newport's basketball squad crush Conant by a margin of 45-24.

The Tigers (5-14) will now prepare for their test against Newfound Regional (Bristol, NH). The Bears go into the Division III test with a 2-16 record. In their last test, Newfound Regional walloped Inter-Lakes (Meredith, NH), 49-17, in a league test.

The Orioles now own a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to Belmont for a Division III test on Wednesday, February 7. Conant will encounter a Red Raiders squad coming off a 77-33 league loss to Prospect Mountain (Alton, NH). The Red Raiders record now stands at 7-9.
