The Great Bridge Wildcats basketball team (Chesapeake, VA), was overwhelmed 70-25 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Deep Creek Hornets (Chesapeake, VA)
The Hornets now possess a 17-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oscar Smith for a Southeastern battle on Thursday, February 8. Deep Creek will battle a Tigers team coming off a 31-30 league loss to Indian River (Chesapeake, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 10-10.
The Wildcats (6-14) will now prepare for their battle against Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA). The Bruins come into the Southeastern battle with a 9-11 record. In their last battle, Western Branch was overwhelmed by Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA), 78-37, in a league battle.
