IMG Academy Ascenders (Bradenton, FL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting DME Academy DME Academy (Daytona Beach, FL), 60-34 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, IMG Academy upgrades its record to 22-3 on the campaign. The Ascenders travel to Montverde Academy (Montverde, FL) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, February 9. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 20-1. Montverde Academy won 56-55 in their recent non-league bout against Palm Bay (Melbourne, FL)

Next up, the DME Academy play the Montverde Academy Eagles (Montverde, FL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 22. DME Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 17-5 season record.
