In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies (Elk Point, SD) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Ponca Indians (Ponca, NE), by a margin of 59-22.

The Huskies (15-2) will now prepare for their outing against Beresford (Beresford, SD). The Watchdogs go into the A Region 4 outing with a 10-6 record. In their last outing, Beresford was trounced by Garretson (Garretson, SD), 45-37, in a non-league outing.

The Indians now own a 7-11 record. They play next when they host Homer for a non-league outing on Friday, February 9. Ponca will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 59-32 non-league loss to Pender (Pender, NE). The Knights record now stands at 8-9.
