In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Freedom Area Bulldogs (Freedom, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Riverside Panthers (Ellwood City, PA), by a margin of 66-26.

The Bulldogs (10-10) will now prepare for their outing against New Brighton (New Brighton, PA). The Lions go into the WPIAL 2A 1 outing with a 0-13 record. In their last outing, New Brighton was trounced by Rochester (Rochester, PA), 49-9, in a league outing.

The Panthers now own a 5-16 record. They play next when they travel to Mohawk Area for a WPIAL 3A 1 match on Thursday, February 8. Riverside will meet a Warriors team coming off a 65-31 non-league win over Aliquippa (Aliquippa, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 11-9.
