The Galena Bears basketball team (Galena, MO), was nudged 48-45 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Mansfield Lions (Mansfield, MO)

The Bears (4-18) will now prepare for their battle against Blue Eye (Blue Eye, MO). The Bulldogs come into the Southwest Central battle with a 15-5 record. In their last battle, Blue Eye edged Spokane (Spokane, MO), 56-34, in a league battle.
