The Plainville Blue Devils (Plainville, CT) basketball knocked off the host Hartford Public Owls (Hartford, CT), 49-35 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Blue Devils (7-11) will now prepare for their test against Maloney (Meriden, CT). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 1-15 record. In their last test, Maloney went down by Lewis Mills (Burlington, CT), 62-18, in a non-league test.
The Owls now own a 2-14 record. They play next when they travel to Classical Magnet for a non-league test on Thursday, February 8. Hartford Public will encounter a Gladiators squad coming off a 44-27 league win over Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy (Hartford, CT). The Gladiators record now stands at 8-5.
