The Mt. Pleasant Oilers (Mt. Pleasant, MI) basketball nipped the visiting Heritage Hawks (Saginaw, MI), 46-42 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Oilers (11-5) will now prepare for their test against Dow (Midland, MI). The Chargers go into the Saginaw Valley test with a 11-2 record. In their last test, Dow got by Bay City Western (Auburn, MI), 57-45, in a league test.
The Hawks now own a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Carman-Ainsworth for a Saginaw Valley test on Friday, February 9. Heritage will encounter a Cavaliers squad coming off a 73-36 league win over Lapeer (Lapeer, MI). The Cavaliers record now stands at 8-4.
