Illinois High School Basketball - IC Catholic Prep can't hold off St. Edward

The St. Edward Green Wave basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting IC Catholic Prep Knights to 49 in the Green Wave non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Green Wave now sport a 16-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Byron for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 8. St. Edward will battle a Tigers team coming off a 45-41 non-league win over Rockford Auburn (Rockford, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 19-7.
The Knights (20-9) will now prepare for their contest against Southland College Prep (Matteson, IL). The come into the non-league contest with a 5-11 record. In their last contest, Southland College Prep was nudged by Christ the King (Chicago, IL), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
