Iowa Yellowjackets (Iowa, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host St. Louis Catholic Saints (Lake Charles, LA), 59-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Iowa upgrades its record to 25-6 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Sam Houston (Lake Charles, LA) to clash with the Broncos in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 8. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 4-23. Sam Houston lost 55-49 in their recent league bout against New Iberia (New Iberia, LA)

Next up, the Saints clash with the Jennings Bulldogs (Jennings, LA) in a 3A District 3 bout, on Friday, February 9. St. Louis Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 5-17 season record.
