Jonesboro Hurricane (Jonesboro, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Marmaduke Greyhounds (Marmaduke, AR), 73-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Jonesboro upgrades its record to 8-13 on the season. The Hurricane host North Little Rock (North Little Rock, AR) to play the Charging Wildcats in a 6A Central bout on Friday, February 9. The Charging Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 21-4. North Little Rock won 71-47 in their recent league bout against Little Rock Southwest (Little Rock, AR)

Next up, the Greyhounds play the Newport Greyhounds (Newport, AR) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 9. Marmaduke will attempt to upgrade on its 12-15 season record. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a 4-20 record after their 55-47 non-league loss to Rose Bud (Rose Bud, AR).
