The Wabasso Rabbits (Wabasso, MN) basketball felled the visiting Lac qui Parle Valley Eagles (Madison, MN), 48-40 in Tuesday's league test.
The Rabbits (5-17) will now prepare for their test against Minnesota Valley Lutheran (New Ulm, MN). The Chargers go into the non-league test with a 3-19 record. In their last test, Minnesota Valley Lutheran was beaten by St. Mary's (Sleepy Eye, MN), 76-22, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 3-18 record. They play next when they travel to Dawson-Boyd for a A Section 3 test on Thursday, February 8. Lac qui Parle Valley will encounter a Blackjacks squad coming off a 64-37 league win over Renville County West (Renville, MN). The Blackjacks record now stands at 8-11.
