The Lawton-Bronson Eagles basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Whiting Warriors to 39 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 4-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Sioux for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 8. Lawton-Bronson will meet a Falcons team coming off a 34-29 league win over Gehlen Catholic (Le Mars, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 3-18.
The Warriors (4-17) will now prepare for their contest against Akron-Westfield (Akron, IA). The Westerners enter the non-league contest with a 13-6 record. In their last contest, Akron-Westfield was routed by Hinton (Hinton, IA), 65-34, in a league contest.
