Maine High School Basketball - Leavitt ripped by Maine Central Institute

The Maine Central Institute Huskies basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Leavitt Hornets to 35 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Huskies now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Medomak Valley for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 8. Maine Central Institute will battle a Panthers team coming off a 39-25 non-league win over Erskine Academy (South China, ME). The Panthers record now stands at 13-4.
The Hornets (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Oceanside (Rockland, ME). The Mariners enter the B South contest with a 17-0 record. In their last contest, Oceanside triumphed over Winslow (Winslow, ME), 98-37, in a non-league contest.
