The Lima Central Catholic Thunderbirds basketball team (Lima, OH), was overwhelmed 68-25 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Wapakoneta Redskins (Wapakoneta, OH)
The Redskins now possess a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bath for a Western Buckeye battle on Thursday, February 8. Wapakoneta will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 52-41 non-league win over Bluffton (Bluffton, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 14-6.
The Thunderbirds (2-18) will now prepare for their battle against Shawnee (Lima, OH). The Indians come into the non-league battle with a 7-12 record. In their last battle, Shawnee was overwhelmed by Ottawa-Glandorf (Ottawa, OH), 52-13, in a league battle.
