Lincoln Southeast Knights (Lincoln, NE) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Omaha Westside Warriors (Omaha, NE), 51-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Lincoln Southeast upgrades its record to 14-4 on the season. The Knights travel to Kearney (Kearney, NE) to play the Bearcats in a A District TBD bout on Friday, February 9. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 10-9. Kearney won 71-69 in their recent non-league bout against Westview (Omaha, NE)

Next up, the Warriors play the Millard South Patriots (Omaha, NE) in a A District TBD bout, on Friday, February 9. Omaha Westside will attempt to upgrade on its 11-10 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 6-11 record after their 69-28 league win over Omaha Northwest (Omaha, NE).
