The Marshall Bobcats topped the host Rector Cougars basketball team by a final score of 62-52 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Bobcats face the Clinton Yellowjackets (Clinton, AR) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 9. Marshall will attempt to move on its 13-9 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the game with a 16-8 record after their 74-45 league loss to Pulaski Academy (Little Rock, AR).

With the defeat, Rector moves to 7-11 on the year.
