The Morris Redskins basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Serena Huskers to 32 in the Redskins non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Redskins now sport a 20-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Manteno for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 8. Morris will battle a Panthers team coming off a 57-43 league loss to Coal City (Coal City, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 16-11.
The Huskers (23-4) will now prepare for their contest against Yorkville Christian (Yorkville, IL). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 11-13 record. In their last contest, Yorkville Christian prevailed over Marquette (Ottawa, IL), 68-59, in a non-league contest.
