The Parker Pheasants basketball team scored 36 points and held the host Viborg/Hurley Cougars to 30 in the Pheasants non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Pheasants now sport a 2-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sioux Valley for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 10. Parker will meet a Cossacks team coming off a 70-26 league win over Deuel (Clear Lake, SD). The Cossacks record now stands at 14-5.

The Cougars (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against McCook Central/Montrose (Salem, SD). The Fighting Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 5-13 record. In their last contest, McCook Central/Montrose was nudged by West Central (Hartford, SD), 60-35, in a league contest.
