The Parkston Trojans (Parkston, SD) basketball nipped the host Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Rebels (Forestburg, SD), 57-51 in Tuesday's league test.

The Trojans (12-5) will now prepare for their test against Bon Homme (Tyndall, SD). The Cavaliers go into the A Region 5 outing with a 12-4 record. In their last outing, Bon Homme held off Burke (Burke, SD), 41-34, in a non-league outing.

The Rebels now own a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Highmore/Harrold for a non-league outing on Friday, February 9. Sanborn Central/Woonsocket will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 52-48 non-league loss to Hitchcock-Tulare (Tulare, SD). The Pirates record now stands at 7-8.
