The Solomon Gorillas basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Peabody-Burns Warriors to 11 in the Gorillas non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Gorillas now sport a 3-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wakefield for a non-league contest on Friday, February 9. Solomon will battle a Bombers team coming off a 46-27 non-league win over Herington (Herington, KS). The Bombers record now stands at 5-9.
The Warriors (0-13) will now prepare for their contest against Wakefield (Wakefield, KS). The Bombers come into the non-league contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Wakefield triumphed over Solomon (Solomon, KS), 37-24, in a non-league contest.
