The Prairie Hawks basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Xavier Saints to 47 in the Hawks league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hawks now sport a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cedar Falls for a Mississippi Valley contest on Thursday, February 8. Prairie will meet a Tigers team coming off a 71-54 league win over Wahlert (Dubuque, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 19-1.

With the defeat, Xavier moves to 8-14 on the year. The Saints host Jefferson (Cedar Rapids, IA) to meet the Hawks in a Mississippi Valley match on Friday, February 9. The Hawks enter the match with a record of 5-16. Jefferson lost 48-44 in their recent league match against Iowa City (Iowa City, IA)
