South Dakota High School Basketball - Redfield overwhelmed by Warner

The Warner Monarchs basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Redfield Pheasants to 24 in the Monarchs non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Monarchs now sport a 17-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wessington Springs for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 8. Warner will battle a Spartans team coming off a 57-28 league win over Tripp-Delmont/Armour (Armour, SD). The Spartans record now stands at 13-3.
The Pheasants (5-12) will now prepare for their contest against Groton (Groton, SD). The Tigers come into the A Region 1 contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, Groton was routed by Elk Point-Jefferson (Elk Point, SD), 44-23, in a non-league contest.
