In Tuesday's non-league outing, the South Warren Spartans (Bowling Green, KY) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Russellville Panthers (Russellville, KY), by a margin of 59-35.
The Spartans (11-10) will now prepare for their outing against Greenwood (Bowling Green, KY). The Gators go into the District 14 outing with a 11-13 record. In their last outing, Greenwood was trounced by Marshall County (Benton, KY), 64-39, in a non-league outing.
The Panthers now own a 1-19 record. They play next when they host Todd County Central for a District 13 outing on Friday, February 9. Russellville will clash with a Rebels squad coming off a 52-39 league win over Logan County (Russellville, KY). The Rebels record now stands at 13-9.
