The Black Bears now sport a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Berean Academy for a non-league battle on Friday, February 9. Sterling will battle a Warriors team coming off a 39-31 non-league win over Remington (Whitewater, KS). The Warriors record now stands at 13-2.

The Cardinals (2-11) will now prepare for their battle against Inman (Inman, KS). The Inman Teutons come into the non-league battle with a 7-5 record. In their last battle, Inman prevailed over Ell-Saline (Brookville, KS), 58-40, in a non-league battle.
