South Dakota High School Basketball - Sturgis Brown knocked off by Spearfish

The Spearfish Spartans basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Sturgis Brown Scoopers to 33 in the Spartans league triumph on Tuesday.
The Spartans now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Custer for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 8. Spearfish will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 54-34 league loss to Belle Fourche (Belle Fourche, SD). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-10.
The Scoopers (2-11) will now prepare for their contest against Hot Springs (Hot Springs, SD). The Bison enter the non-league contest with a 5-11 record. In their last contest, Hot Springs was defeated by Custer (Custer, SD), 65-38, in a league contest.
