Virginia High School Basketball - James River knocked off by Patrick County

The Patrick County Cougars basketball team scored 33 points and held the host James River Knights to 23 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cougars now sport a 12-3 record.
The Knights (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Glenvar (Salem, VA). The Highlanders enter the non-league contest with a 4-12 record. In their last contest, Glenvar ran past Alleghany (Covington, VA), 22-20, in a non-league contest.
