The Providence Day Chargers (Charlotte, NC) basketball nipped the visiting Cannon Cougars (Concord, NC), 63-62 in Tuesday's league test.

The Chargers (12-5) will now prepare for their test against Charlotte Country Day School (Charlotte, NC). The Buccaneers go into the test with a 9-2 record. In their last test, Charlotte Country Day School Covenant Day (Matthews, NC), 76-76, in a non-league test.
