The Alden-Conger Knights (Alden, MN) basketball edged the host United South Central Rebels (Wells, MN), 65-64 in Thursday's league bout.
The Knights now possess a 4-10 record. They play next when they travel to Nicollet for a A Section 2 bout on Friday, February 7. Alden-Conger will play a Raiders team coming off a 80-66 non-league win over Mountain Lake/Comfrey (Mountain Lake, MN). The Raiders record now stands at 9-12.
With the loss, United South Central falls to 8-15 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Waterville-Elysian-Morristown (Waterville, MN) to play the Buccaneers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 7. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a record of 11-10.
