In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Peshtigo Bulldogs basketball team scored a close 77-73 win over the Crandon Cardinals.

The Bulldogs (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Algoma (Algoma, WI). The Wolves come into the Packerland contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Algoma edged Sevastopol (Sturgeon Bay, WI), 70-42, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Goodman-Pembine Falcons (Goodman, WI) in a Northern Lakes contest, on Friday, February 7. Crandon will attempt to better on its 11-8 season record. The Falcons come into the contest with a 3-14 record after their 58-51 non-league loss to Gillett (Gillett, WI).
