In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Midway/Minto Mustangs basketball team scored a good 48-40 triumph over the Drayton/Valley-Edinburg Titans.

The Mustangs (13-1) will now prepare for their contest against Cavalier (Cavalier, ND). The Tornadoes go into the B District 3 contest with a 1-14 record.

In their next game, the Titans confront the Griggs County Central/Midkota Cougars (Cooperstown, ND) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 8. Drayton/Valley-Edinburg will attempt to better on its 4-11 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 10-4 record after their 49-42 non-league loss to Barnes County North co-op [North Central/Wimbledon-Courtenay] (Rogers, ND).
