West Virginia High School Basketball - Liberty can't get by East Fairmont

The Liberty Mountaineers basketball squad (Clarksburg, WV), was nudged 52-45 in Thursday's league battle with the host East Fairmont Bees (Fairmont, WV)

With the victory, East Fairmont advances its record to 5-7 on the year. The Bees host Lincoln (Shinnston, WV) to meet the Cougars in a non-league battle on Saturday, February 8. The Cougars enter the battle with a record of 3-10. Lincoln lost 76-48 in their recent league battle against Preston (Kingwood, WV)

The Mountaineers now own a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lewis County for a Big Ten battle on Tuesday, February 11.
