In Thursday's non-league test, the Sheridan Spartans (Sheridan, OR) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Gervais Cougars (Gervais, OR), by a score of 60-51.
Next, the Spartans encounter the Blanchet Catholic Cavaliers (Salem, OR) in a 3A PacWest test, on Friday, February 7. Sheridan will attempt to improve on its 7-13 season record. The Cavaliers come into the test with a 9-12 record after their 59-56 league win over Scio (Scio, OR).
The Cougars (4-17) will now prepare for their test against Delphian (Sheridan, OR). The Dragons come into the 2A Tri-River test with a 4-12 record. In their last test, Delphian was knocked off by Colton (Colton, OR), 56-48, in a league test.
