In Thursday's league contest, the host Proctor Rails basketball team scored a good 57-48 triumph over the Hinckley-Finlayson Jaguars.
The Rails (9-12) will now prepare for their contest against Marshall (Duluth, MN). The Hilltoppers go into the non-league contest with a 6-13 record. In their last contest, Marshall was topped by Superior (Superior, WI), 95-34, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Jaguars battle the Braham Bombers (Braham, MN) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, February 13. Hinckley-Finlayson will attempt to better on its 5-20 season record.
