The Wynne Yellowjackets basketball team scored 72 points and limited the visiting Hoxie Mustangs to 36 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Yellowjackets now have a 4-12 record. They play next when they host Lonoke for a 4A Region 6 game on Friday, February 7. Wynne will confront a Jackrabbits team coming off a 66-63 non-league loss to Barton (Lexa, AR). The Jackrabbits record now stands at 7-9.

With the loss, Hoxie falls to 1-14 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Harrisburg (Harrisburg, AR) to confront the Hornets in a 3A Region 3 game on Friday, February 7. The Hornets go into the game with a record of 13-11. Harrisburg won 60-48 in their recent league game against Walnut Ridge (Walnut Ridge, AR)
