In Thursday's non-league test, the Lake Clifton Lakers (Baltimore, MD) basketball squad defeated the host Thomas Stone Cougars (Waldorf, MD), by a final score of 48-29.
Next, the Lakers clash with the Overlea Falcons (Baltimore, MD) in a non-league test, on Saturday, February 8. Lake Clifton will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Falcons come into the test with a 17-0 record after their 82-77 non-league win over Eastern Tech (Baltimore, MD).
The Cougars (4-13) will now prepare for their test against Great Mills (Great Mills, MD). The Hornets come into the Southern Maryland test with a 11-4 record. In their last test, Great Mills went down by Westlake (Waldorf, MD), 54-47, in a league test.
