Illinois High School Basketball - Marengo victorious over Round Lake

In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Marengo Indians basketball team scored a good 62-46 triumph over the Round Lake Panthers.
The Indians (5-23) will now prepare for their contest against Harvard (Harvard, IL). The Hornets go into the Kishwaukee River contest with a 4-18 record. In their last contest, Harvard was toppled by Woodstock North (Woodstock, IL), 55-51, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers confront the Grayslake North Knights (Grayslake, IL) in a Northern Lake County contest, on Friday, February 7. Round Lake will attempt to better on its 1-21 season record. The Knights go into the contest with a 14-12 record after their 68-38 league loss to Wauconda (Wauconda, IL).
