Delaware High School Basketball - Wilmington Charter succumbs to Newark Charter School

The Newark Charter School Patriots ran past the host Wilmington Charter Force basketball team by a margin of 71-53 in Thursday's non-league contest.
The Patriots (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against MOT Charter (Middletown, DE). The Mustangs go into the non-league contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, MOT Charter topped First State Military Academy (Clayton, DE), 69-26, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Force confront the Red Lion Christian Academy Lions (Bear, DE) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 8. Wilmington Charter will attempt to better on its 3-12 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 2-12 record after their 69-47 non-league loss to Delaware Military Academy (Wilmington, DE).
